Signs and Symbols course at Parsons School of Design. 


PROBLEM
We are losing the use of idioms in chat messaging communications because they tend to be long phrases.

SOLUTION
Series of five glyphs to use in chat/text messaging slang to express idioms, with the aim of facilitating their daily usage during conversations by encapsulating entire messages within a single symbol. For this purpose, the Neue Kabel typeface was selected for its neutral, clear, clean, and geometric characteristics, which simplified the creation of shapes.

Collaboration with Levis for the launch of the Glyphs series by creating patches to customize Levis garments.

The collaboration expresses the idea that Levis is for everyone, no matter how different we are. The Groovie Idioms patches stand for the belief that we are all flawed and can make mistakes, which can be communicated in our daily lives through idioms.

Everyone from time to time criticizes, misses opportunities, has problems that everyone sees, is sad or makes mistakes.
