AI has become a natural part of my creative process. I usually use it to generate images, organize ideas, explore visual directions, or test compositions and color palettes with tools like ChatGPT, Khroma, Midjourney, Runway, among others.  This section focuses mainly on image generation. The projects shown here are not final pieces, but rather works in progress and explorations that reflect how I integrate generative AI into my creative process. My process usually starts with research and prompt development. I then iterate in Midjourney until I find a direction that feels right, refining the results with Photoshop AI or Midjourney’s edit tool to achieve a more accurate outcome.

OPTIMUM

Client Project - Wonton
Website

Optimum is a nutricosmetics brand offering a formula made with Atlantic ingredients. They needed a new website design, so I refreshed their visual system — introducing a new typeface, typographic hierarchy, and color palette.

To capture their Atlantic essence, I created a series of AI-generated images and videos inspired by coastal landscapes, forests, the ocean, and mermaids — all sharing a raw, wild, natural aesthetic with crashing waves, misty forests, and an untamed atmosphere.

The website is filled with AI-generated visuals. I also used AI to create product photographs. For this, I start by generating the scene in Midjourney, then replace the generated product with the real one in Chat GPT, and finally refine the result using the Harmonize tool in Photoshop or through additional adjustments.

Since Optimum’s formula contains various natural ingredients, I also generated images to represent them — helping users visualize what they’re consuming. These prompts were more complex, as each ingredient needed to look realistic and accurate. For this series, I used Midjourney’s edit tool to modify and replace the ingredients in the models’ hands.

MARIA BARAZA

Client Project - Wonton
Visual Identity

María Baraza is a bridal atelier that needed a refresh of its visual system. For one of the creative directions, we proposed the concept that the details of her dresses are so delicate they resemble flowers — as if they were crafted by nature itself.

To represent this concept, I generated AI images of flowers that mimicked fabrics such as tulle and silk — translucent, ethereal, and rendered in soft negative tones. I first gathered visual references to build the prompt and iterated in Midjourney, experimenting with different types of flowers. Later, I applied a negative effect in Photoshop so that the light areas would evoke the look of wedding dresses.

I also used AI to generate the desired label format and the embossing effect for the business cards.

Prompt example: hyper-realistic photograph of a translucent blue hydrangea, delicate petals with x-ray-like transparency, intricate botanical detail, soft natural lighting, pure white background, elegant and ethereal aesthetic, fine art floral photography.

LA ROMANA

Client Project - Wonton
Visual Identity

La Romana is a flower studio that needed a new visual identity. Based on the brand’s narrative, we aimed for a vintage, classic style inspired by British botanical prints. The hydrangea became the central motif, as it’s a symbolic flower from Galicia, in northern Spain, where the brand originates.

Once the desired style for the prints was defined, I generated a series of AI images that reinterpreted this botanical aesthetic — some featuring a single flower, and others forming floral frames that could be adapted across different brand assets.

Prompt example: vintage botanical illustration of hydrangeas, roses, and mimosa flowers forming a complete circular floral frame, flowers surrounding all sides with no gaps, leaving a clear organic blank circular space in the center, delicate and elegant composition, beige background, 19th century engraving style, soft natural colors, refined and minimalist, inspired by British vintage botanical prints

PAPER AS A MEDIUM FOR STAGE DESIGN

Personal exploration

These are a series of explorations on the art of paper as a medium for stage design, portraying iconic ballets and operas such as The Firebird, Turandot, Madame Butterfly, The Magic Flute, and Swan Lake, blending handcrafted aesthetics with surreal scenography.

To achieve a consistent visual language, I first developed a custom V7 profile that defined the overall look and feel of the images. Once the model was created, it allowed me to generate visuals that naturally shared the same aesthetic. I then adapted the images to each opera or ballet, designing stage sets, costumes, and accessories inspired by the narrative and mood of each performance.

Prompt example 1: sculptural paper costume design for The Magic Flute, made entirely of folded and layered paper, clearly showing paper texture, avant-garde geometric shapes and surreal details, bold and vibrant colors (deep blue, electric purple, gold), handcrafted feel, abstract contemporary stage fashion, dramatic studio lighting, futuristic and dreamlike atmosphere

Prompt example 2: surreal paper puppet theater with a decorated proscenium framing the stage, layered paper cutouts creating depth with foreground, middle ground and background, entire Turandot opera scene crafted from paper, characters wearing sculptural paper masks and elaborate costumes, inspired by Chinese palaces and mythic settings, ornate towers and lanterns made of layered paper, vibrant reds, golds and deep blues, handcrafted feel, dreamlike and dramatic atmosphere, theatrical stage lighting
